IFWU: Ummm, FLAC is the superior the MP3 format in audio quality.
These are not true lossless files. Looking at a spectrogram, there appears to be a clear shelf on some of the files. I don't have time to check all of them, but the first one I noticed (the 3rd song I listened to) was Toast to the Dead (The Martyr). I question the veracity of all these files. @FatFreddy468, where did you get these files? It could be that Toast to the Dead was produced that way, but I doubt it.
